IS IT STILL WIDE WEDNESDAY?

I'm always at a loss for what Blipday it is...it always seems to be changing and I'm uncertain about how to keep up. Anyway, if it is still Wide Wednesday I have two selections to offer. The first is somewhere in the high desert in California. The EXTRA is more toward the coastal regions south of San Diego where the hills arise from the sea. 

The former reeks of oil wells constantly pumping; the latter is a pastoral setting, at least it is to me.  Both are best seen in LARGE.
