Pheasant

We had a chilly and misty stroll round the Three Sisters Recreation Area this afternoon, and I had a few images to choose from for today's entry, but when we returned home, this splendid chap was strutting around the garden, so i couldn't resist him!
Across the main road from our house, there is a large organised 'shoot', with semi-permanent tents and gun emplacements, and the large field they use always seems full of Pheasants. Occasionally one or two escape and seek refuge in our gardens!
I'm always pleased to see them!!
