Quod oculus meus videt

Holding on to the Leaves

A foggy start which only lifted into mist by the time I finished my walk.  I took this before starting and is an area I mostly visit in the autumn when the beech trees make it a really colourful site.  I just loved this tree having held on to its leaves despite the time of year.

While walking I came across 4 herds of fallow deer at various points along the walk.  Part of the walk took me through the Teddesley Estate with a view across to the derelict Teddesley Hall through the mist.
