Vintage loudspeakers

I love Amaryllis, or Hippeastrum as they are more correctly known by.  When left to come and go at their own discretion, they will flower at any time during winter and spring, so we have had at least one stem of flowers since early January and there are a few more in their infancy.
The four flowers on the long stem remind me of the old fashioned public address speakers that were used at outdoor events; this was the inspiration for this view of the plant.
