Botanicals

Four years ago I viewed my current home for the first time. The list of what needed doing was short. A woolen hall runner was on the list.

Good things take time.

Mummajo's is a Mum and daughter business in the North Island that rescues Nana carpets (as in the quality wool carpets I grew up with) from landfill.

After checking, cleaning, water blasting, drying, cutting, and edging, they offer alternative to new products, and keep quality in circulation. It's been worth the wait to find this and have a rug and runner made.

The chair won't always be by the front door but for now it helps when my balance is a bit off.

Today's gratitude: For discovering that I still know how to edit video. I enjoyed it.
