NEW WASHING MACHINE

I had to order a new washing machine last week as the old one all but exploded. It was coming to the end of its wash cycle when I could hear this loud banging coming from the utility room. The dogs got a fright and came running into the kitchen as I tentatively reached over to switch it off. I took the lid off to investigate and found the concrete counter weight had disintegrated and the noise was from bits of concrete flying around inside the casing. I thought about replacing the counter weight but, as the other weight had disintegrated as well, I decided to replace the machine. The new one arrived this morning and is now plumbed in and working.
