World's apart.

I had to get up very early this morning as I had an eye test appointment at SpecSavers.  Since having shingles, my left eye has been feeling as if I had a bit of grit in it, and it has really been worrying me, because the rash was so close to my eye, and I heard that the eye could have become damaged.  I paid the extra £10 to have my eye viewed from all angles, well worth the money in my view, and thank goodness, all was well. She did say that I have dry eyes, and recommended  I get some eye drops, which I did. After worrying for so long, I was walking on air when I came out , and the first thing I did was phone J to tell him the good news. I think I am going to sleep well tonight.
