Highgate Brewery

Dropped my car off for its annual service, I’ve done just under 6,000 miles in the last 12 months which is more than I thought! The year before it would have been about 15,000, although I was working then. Took a very long walk home via the old Highgate Brewery site. Opened in 1898 it closed in 2010 sadly, and the site has been empty ever since. Efforts to sell it have failed to date. The brewery was well known for its mild, not a beer I’ve ever liked!
