My Second Car

Digging about in the archive boxes I came across this photograph of my 1954 Ford Consul.  I had my shirt pinned up with this one.  A real rust bucket.  Holes in the boot floor, filler in the door panels and an engine that could smoke for England....  But I learned a lot and was never conned again....
Cost me £75 and, after a lot of work and a lot of welding during the few months I owned it, I eventually managed to sell it for £70......
