Had an absolutely exhausting day, at the end of an absolutely exhausting week (in the middle of an absolutely exhausting semester).

I presented my poster at Honours Fest, which involved standing for over two and a half hours explaining my research to various students, faculty members and judges. Most of the honours students in the Faculty of Science participated, and most of my friends were presenting as well.

It was a great experience - but, wow, did it ever get hot in there! All the presenters were completely red-faced, probably from excitement as much as heat, by the end. The free bevy they gave us at the closing ceremonies did not help.

Fun fact: we were all expecting pop & juice when we heard there would be refreshments after the presentations. Weren't we excited when we found out that in our fourth year at university we are considered real adults and get treated to a wine & beer bar! Too bad it was terrible beer...but at that point...beer is beer is beer.
