A sudden goodbye

Today was another sad day with a goodbye via a webcast funeral service. Alan, who lived next door to us for our 11 years in Scotland, passed away in February after a short illness.  He was 54.  We could never have got to Scotland at the moment, so it was lovely to be a part of the goodbye and hear fitting words and memories from the family.

We were both working today so only stopped for a while to say goodbye and then back to it.  It was a dreich day.
