Opsitkers

A candle which was burned to determine the length of a suitor’s or sweetheart’s visit. People had allkinds of hacks to make the candle burn longer. Those were the days.


I did a bit of gardening in the morning. It was sunny, but a bit cooler than yesterday. The extra is a darker purple crocus in the front lawn.

Chicken baked in mayo and cream for tea.
