A Shy Puddock!

We have two little ponds in our garden, in fact they are more like puddles.
Yesterday, I saw our first frog of the year and there it was again this morning, hiding in the duck weed.
We have never had frog spawn but who knows, this might be the year. There are usually lots of newts but no sign of them yet.
I have usually a song playing in my head and today it is "A Froggie Went A Courting!"
By the way, a Puddock is a Scots word for a frog.
