A busy day today.  In the morning we did food shopping, a rare occurrence nowadays as we are lucky enough to have C who shops for us on Saturdays.  But it was good to do some on our own, and she will still do the bulk of it tomorrow for us.

After lunch the HG had a telephone consultation with his doctor, now he has the results of the tests he had last week he is referring him to a consultant.  This could of course take a while due to Covid, but at least it is a step in the right direction.

We went for a longish walk, and I photographed the tufted ducks, they are common year round residents here, and are augmented in the winter by visitors from the continent.  Their bright yellow eyes are quite distinctive, as well as the tufts, and the greyish beaks.
