Crocus

Last year there were about half a dozen purple crocus here, but just look at them now! They are a lovely splash of colour, and must have self seeded.
To get this photo I had to climb steps out of the front door, and I am pleased to say I managed without mishap. I explored the front garden and enjoyed seeing all the signs of spring growth.
