After... (1)(Saturday 6th March 2021)

By the end of the day yesterday the long-awaited Velux skylights were in place and nearly all the new roofing slates were in. The builders were here today finishing things off. There are a couple of little jobs that will have to wait until the scaffolding is out of the way but otherwise work is complete.

I am considering plasterboarding the porch ceiling at a later date as it looks a little unfinished, and it would add extra insulation for the home. I may even replace the grotty-looking old lampshade!
