e-bike riding

Went to the pool in the morning, riding the Specialized bike.  It tells me that I've ridden it more than 500 miles since getting it in November .. it's a few more than that, since the mile recorder wasn't set up for the first ride .. 

Also planted 4 out of the 6 bareroot roses. Two more still to do. The soil here isn't heavy, and when damp as it still is isn't hard to move, except that it is full of surface roots which have to be cut out for every forkful.  Side effect of the irrigation system, without which nothing would grow.
