I have no idea what Heath Robinson-esque purpose this thing serves but it caught my eye and that's enough reason for it to be a Blip..

Saturday.  

I was up relatively early in order to get to the supermarket.  I left the house in plenty of time to get to the bus stop and as soon as I got to the main street, my bus went sailing past.  5 minutes early.

Punctuality is not a strength of public transport here.

So instead of being at the supermarket in 10 minutes, I had a nice hour long walk intead.

Doesn't matter.  The sun was shining.  An assistant at the supermarket opened a till for me and I managed to get a bus home. 

Only thing left to do is cook dinner.  Schnitzels and Sri Lankan spiced Bratkartoffeln.

I had a test run with the potatoes this afternoon.  If I have a bit more patience, I think I can get them really crispy.
