Beyond repair

A couple of weeks ago I blipped Arnside’s 15th. Century pele tower.
That photograph was of its northern side which is still remarkably complete.

Today’s shot is of the southern side. This suffered a major collapse in the year 1900.

Although it is a Scheduled Monument and a Grade 2 listed building it is privately owned and there is little or no chance of any repairs.
