Lone Powder Skier ....

.... Julie-Ann on the Diablerets Glacier. The conditions were perfect and we had pristine, easy skiable powder to enjoy at this high altitude before other skiers arrived. We were hoping a bearded vulture would fly past but no luck this morning. We were back down by 12 noon very happy with our morning. We are so lucky to be able to stay mountain active in this time of restrictions.

Thanks so much for all the recent presents left on my journal too.

The extra is of an extraordinary shadow effect of the Diablerets mountains, cast on the clouds before the sun was up. I had to stop the car to watch it.
