First thing I did a couple of miles around the local streets and enjoyed the many swathes of spring flowers. I collected a package from the shop up the road on the way back, and then the rest of the morning somehow disappeared. But after lunch I forced myself into the garden to finish the turf shifting - see extra. What a job, I just hope it turns into a reasonable lawn and I don't have too many humps and dips to deal with. 

In the few hours since I finished, I've already changed my mind about the lawn's shape... but that's fairly typical!

This evening I'm enjoying BBC4's programme The Fight to Film Everest.
