New RV Storage Building and working together.

Prior to the construction of this steel building, RV owners had no place to put their campers.  For a while they were stored on the streets, but the parking there  caused a great deal of problems.   The roads aren't wide enough to have 2 car lanes and a camper lane for parking with cones as warnings in the night  (there was something blocking the way).  Firetrucks,  ambulances and police couldn't get by the campers on the street, not to mention golf carts, walkers and bicyclists.
The management and owners got together and decided to build the  steel building.  The building had a concrete floor poured, a tall fence for security as well as security cameras..  There is a security gate with a key code to unlock the gate and get in.  The building is built to hurricane specs.
The owners pay a rent charge of $25.00 a month, water access,  sewage dumping access, and lighting.   At night there are patrols around OTOW that periodically check on the facilities.
At first there was a lot of disgruntle residents but  In the end, the compromises have worked out well.   Everyone seems to be happy and the problem seems to be solved, yet safety concerns have all been delt with.
