Inca steps

I have this on my wall as a framed picture. Because of reflections off the glass, it proved a bit tricky to shoot. These are steps carved in stone at Machu Picchu in Peru. They are not steps you would walk up. I think it was part of a ceremonial site. Even now, Machu Picchu remains mysterious, because it wasn't discovered until 1911, and nobody quite knows what it was for.
