The next stage of my training for the Camino is to do two walks of 5 miles or over on consecutive days, and 3 miles for the rest of the week. As Joanna and I had walked 5 miles yesterday, and the weather forecast was good, I thought I’d walk another 5 today. As it turned out, I did more than that because the drystone dyke I’d hoped to cross had no gates or stiles so I had to follow it all the way down and make a bit of a detour. My feet are a bit sore now.

I did an hour of light gardening this afternoon, now I’ve lit the fire and retired to the sofa. It’s D’s turn to get the tea tonight :-)

Todays walk: Speddoch and Bishop Forest Hill 8.07 miles
