Blue banded bee

There have been a lot of these triple b's buzzing around and also the Teddy bear bees.  They rarely seem to settle on anything and feed and in a rare moment yesterday I managed to poorly catch this one on the lavender. 

A day spent doing the unmentionable which took most of the day. Hey ho, only the end of the month to go.  Bring it on....
