The Untrained Eye

The Kindness of Strangers

We took a walk this morning around Cliftonwood.
We went down a passage way between rows of houses.
We had  the best view ever of the SS Great Britain.
We then met a lady who invited us  into her garden to get a better view.
She told us about her life in this location.
She gave us tea..with a jug of milk and chocolate biscuits ( 2 varieties).
She invited us to stay in her garden for as long as we liked in the sun and we did.

We didn't know her from Adam...or Eve.

It reminded me of Kate Adie's Autobiography, as my entry title, and her experiences around the world and how lovely people can be..and our hostess today was.

Oh... and great viewing point for Brunel's SS Great Britain I thought.
