Shadows

I was lucky to catch a little bit of sunshine on my walk down to the woods and the Dam.  Even as simple a thing as seeing the trees cast shadows seems a wonder after the past couple of grey weeks.

I bumped into a pair of Grey Wagtail along the beck, and there were plenty of ducks chasing other ducks on the Dam.

16yo is back at school and has managed that ok, including the process of being tested. 12yo starts back on Thursday as the school is staggering returns. And students have started back at my work too, but it looks like I'll still be working from home up to around Easter.  Meanwhile the head of the vaccination queue is getting closer  - I should be in the next group called forward.
