I've been twitching.

My plan for this morning was to revisit Knighton heath to hopefully see the bird I snapped yesterday. Is it a Cirl Bunting .... Is it a Yellowhammer. It was singing it's little heart out yesterday, but not spotted this morning. I was greeted by the dulcet tones of a thrush, was it Song, or Mistle I did manage to get a decent photo, however the sweet little Firecrest foraging through the brambles was less accommodating. I spotted it, followed it but could'nt get focused before it moved on. Other sightings - Dipper, Longtail tits, Spotted Woodpecker, Great tit, Wren, & Blue tits a plenty. A super couple of hours just mooching, enjoying the surroundings. It's the simple things in life that give me such pleasure.
I popped into Masons at Rixey park to check on the hedge strimmer for Mum, still not in stock.
Back home, hubby is panicking .. he's received two text messages asking for a payment to be forwarded to the Post Office for a parcel we are expecting ...  The 2 texts came through on his phone not mine .. 2 different tel numbers came up. Neither responding on recall. A scam I feel. I am expecting my camera bought on ebay last week but I've already paid the postage. We ignored the texts.  The laundry whizzed through the machine & out on the line then lunch. After lunch up to the allotment with hubby to create a new raised bed with the pallet bases Stuart, another plotter very generously gave me. Not the easiest of jobs initially but we got it sussed. Hubby headed home while I carried on preparing the soil adding the compost bought on  Friday in Morrison's.  It's all looking good up on the plot.
Another dilemma when I got home a bit later .... A stress free morning followed by a stressful afternoon. Hey ho!!! :-) Life's rich tapestry.

I'm off to watch THE Oprah Winfrey interview .. I'm not really interested, but feel I need to watch to try and understand. Not the only one :-))

Thanks to Trisharooni for hosting a great challenge
