International Women's Day comes with a bit of a sting this year, as it's been so long since I've seen some of the most important women in my life. Facebook reminded me that it's been a full year since the last time I saw my sister & her kids for more than a couple of socially distanced minutes on our drive. It's been about 6 months now since I last properly saw my Mom. 3 since I saw my MIL & SIL. It's also my Grandad's birthday today, so I would normally have been seeing my whole family at some point this week. I know it's absolutely the right thing we're doing but that doesn't make me miss everyone any less.
