What a difference...

...a ray of sunshine makes! Last week's vibrant tulips are now a rather faded orangey red, but in a brief ray of sunshine they're bright and beautiful again.

Second coat of oil applied to the bathroom door today, and the first coat to the kitchen door. The latter has been in place for about 3 months, and I've only just summoned the energy and enthusiasm to do it. Even worse, the living room door was hung over 15 months ago, and that's next on my list!

Lockdown has started to ease for some, as we start to follow Boris's 'roadmap out of lockdown'. Most school children went back to the classroom today, and care home residents are allowed one regular visitor. However, for the rest of us lockdown continues, and we must stay at home for now.
