A rest day from walking, but not from gardening and I got lots done. By teatime it looked less like a blank space and more like a proper garden, mainly thanks to me moving some plants from the front to the back.

There's a bit more work to do on the lawn, but having given it a good soak and a dose of grass seed on the sparse bits, I think I've messed with it enough for the moment. I'll finish it off when it's begun growing properly.

There's now a good 6 square metres of soil near the house where I've removed the grass, and I think I might use it for courgette plants. It'll be patio eventually but there's no point in not cultivating it until then. A satisfying day!
