Sneaky duck

This Muscovy duck managed to sneak down behind some large boards that were leaning on the granite wall. She had built herself a cosy nest and is sitting proudly on her eggs. Our son tries valiantly to keep the ducks in a large pen but the females find a way to sneak out like this.
She wasn’t very impressed that she had been rumbled.

There has been no infections locally for 11 days and only one person is currently ill, sadly in hospital. We hope that person will recover soon.

The second day of school was exhausting for Miss T. The sixth form is quite large and the students have to sit wearing coats and scarves whilst trying to work in the rooms with all doors and windows open. If your laptop runs out of power it’s bad news. Pleased to be home at the end of the day!
