The miracle of human development

Our son is a few months shy of 18.  He bought a wood lathe about a year ago (mostly his own money) but had been going along to a wood turning club for a couple of years prior to that, once a week.  He now sells his wares, occasionally, at a nearby monthly "makers' market".  (Markets etc started again Sydney in November last year.)

Our book shelf in the lounge room, which has always had a few family snaps on it, has become the transit lounge for pieces as they're complete or nearing completion and before they get sold.

I spied this beautiful juxtaposition of a B&W shot I took of him in his first few weeks along with some of his recent pieces.

Words fail me...
