Hawk Habitat

Apparently, the damp woodland nearby is an ideal habitat for Red-shouldered and Red-tailed Hawks.  I see one almost every time I walk the creekside path, and this morning I spotted two.  I just wish I could tell these birds of prey apart from the back.  My main blip must be a red-shouldered as shown by the coloring.  I'm not so sure about my extra.  If I could see the breast area and look for the banding I wouldn't have a problem.  I would appreciate any hawk experts out there who can help me out.
