Wigan Pier

On a blustery afternoon we walked from Wigan Pier up the Wigan Flight of locks on the Leeds/Liverpool Canal.
The clouds flew by on the stiff breeze and the Sun kept breaking through. This is Pier No.4, recently renovated and awaiting an internal refurb once COVID has gone. We’re looking forward to seeing how vibrant the area becomes again when we can socialise in public!
