Standing Guard

Got the office move taken care of today. One load off of my shoulders. Tomorrow is Friday and I am watching the weekend approach with a twinkling eye and an enthusiastic heart.

I was at work fairly late today and did not have a chance to get out and look as much as I like to. As a result, this photo was taken sitting on the front steps having a beer.

This lion was a gift from a former colleague, now retired. An Aslan-type figure, he has stood guard at our door in three houses and two cities. He's been on duty here in Milwaukee for three months now. Still adjusting to the new town like we all are.
