Between Showers

After the vaccination, I had postponed the weekly shopping for my mother until today. 

A mistake. It's Friday, and both the supermarket and drugstore were mobbed. Nevertheless, it had to be done and I tried my best to dodge the crowds; then delivered the goods at my mother's house, had lunch with her, and drove home for a few hours of work. 

Just when I started on my way home, the clouds opened for a bit of blue sky. A welcome sight on this otherwise mostly grey, blustery and rainy day.
