First time in a long time I've had that Friday feeling. Nice to have had a week of structure that has a beginning and an end. Back in school today and the Assistant Head came down and said there was someone to see me. Nervous face. It was my mentee. Joy! So good to see her and to be able to bunk off the covid testing for an hour to catch up. Still such sadness there too, but nice to have had the chance to talk things through.

A quick stop off to see the Birthday Girl, chickensparrow for her big birthday!  Lockdown birthdays suck, but big ones all the more so. 

Onto Dunelm to pick up a mirror for mum (proof of collection, above) and evidence that the sun was shining, in between gales and rain.
