Hospital gown

I had a call early this morning to say mum was seriously ill in hospital with what turned out to be pneumonia. I went up immediately and my cousin Lorna joined me from Halifax.

We both noticed that the tiny repeating pattern on her new hospital gown was actually a warning not to pinch the clothing. As if one would want a gruesome memento of this time in care.
