Alder Cones

It's been a very busy weekend - unusual too, because I also worked Saturday and Sunday, so I've not had much time to get out and take photos.

These cones caught my attention whilst on the way to work. Some bushes had been trimmed for Spring and these had been cast aside to die. Too pretty to ignore, I pocketed them for a blip later at home.
