The Watchman

A really busy day in the garden today, we got the fence posts up and the decking around the sides, it's looking good. My knees are so sore from kneeling down and digging with the hand trowel, there are so many roots and weeds in the ground that it is impossible to use a proper spade.

Barney was at my side as per usual and for every shovel full of soil I dug out, he dug the equivolent he's a real helper.

He loves the view from this part of the garden as you can see the road and the valley beyond. He's shattered now and sleeping in the glow of the flre.
