Battered and bruised

These poor little crocuses have suffered from the wild, wet and windy weather over the past few days. 

Having said that, most of today was surprisingly sunny and dry. I was just unlucky in the timing of my afternoon walk.

Chanced upon (yet) another screening of 'Oliver!' which, although I've lost count of the number of times I've seen it, still delights. Lionel Bart's masterpiece!
