Sumac

A bright new day today. The beach was busyish at 9 but when they all left it was like the good ol’ days, just me, Mowgli, the sea and the sun.
Leek, cheddar and za’atar galette for dinner. This was a new seasoning to me, and needed sumac, a new spice to me. My local veg shop never lets me down, they have a load of unusual ingredients for world cooking plus all the veg you could look for. So, a visit there, and the butcher and lastly the supermarket to stock up.
