Supernumary

A couple of weeks ago, my wife was given a pot of indoor miniature daffodils called 'Tête-à-tête'. The first 11 blooms all had 6 petals but this, the final 12th bloom, had two supernumary petals.

So, for standing out from the crowd, I have made it my blip for today.
