Tree bud

I think this tree is a pussy willow, but I'm not quite sure - either way, it's been lovely to watch it grow its buds over the course of the last month or so. The afternoon light made for a pretty awesome shot!

Rosie and I took a bike ride to Pollock Park today - when we left the house it was bright and sunny but almost as soon as we got there it started pouring rain so we were soaked and freezing when we got home (mostly me as I'm a wimp with the cold). And to add insult to injury, it was one of the nicest afternoons in a while so we really judged the day wrong. Still, I had a nice walk to close out the day so got to enjoy the sun.
