I picked up little bits as I cleaned the backyard today.  I've not noticed the tiny hairy tendrils on lichen before this photo.  I also started cleaning the shed as Mr Mole pruned, pruned, pruned.  We're hoping to unload a lot of no longer needed gardening tools and supplies this year.

Drummer John Adams will miss the Cleveland Indians' season home opener this year for the first time since 1973 due to health issues.  He gives a lot of himself to our community in a variety of ways.  Herb Score (baseball announcer) and Michael Stanley (musician and radio personality) both died this week.
