Strange day

This was the view from my window today, it was windy, but the rain didn’t start until the evening. I wasn’t really inspired to go anywhere, ended up doing food shopping in the next town. We planned to get a takeaway from a lovely restaurant in the next village, as it seems to be the only one serving takeaway Menüs. Well, we had to place the order online, and said it would be dropped off in 30 mins. Very impressive, we thought. 1 hr 30 later, no sign. Eventually someone answered the phone, said we could come and pick it up in 30 mins, it was actually ready in 50 mins. When Mr S reappeared, his dinner wasn’t even in the bag. A total disaster, just have to keep going with the endless home cooking and kitchen tidying. Can’t wait for the restaurants to reopen, I would count down the days if we had any idea when this will happen!
