Genesis

Today I visit the small town Sarpsborg.

The statue from 2016 when the city celebrated their 1000 year anniversary  is made by the Norwegian artist Finn Eirik Modahl. It's called Genesis and is portraying the young Olav II of Norway, later Saint Olav, the founder of the city.
