Our man in Dubai

Couldn’t decide which photo to use this one, the fountains or Fashion Avenue. 

Another busy day. We got up, had a quick walk to a nearby shop for Karen. We then went to a new High-Tec health centre which has robots doing a lot of menial work, wonder when they will replace the health professionals. Next door was Smart Police Station (didn’t see RoboCop). Then a trip to the insurance company to hand in all the Audi documents. We had lunch in Dubai Mall before heading over to the car dealer. 

The registration and everything was completed to allow us to drive home, but the instantaneous cash transfer wasn’t. So the dealer offered to send the car by truck tomorrow.

We got the medical results and saw the Government Relations Officer. The car dealer called to say everything was transferred, but by that time we were on the road home. The border check into Abu Dhabi was smooth as our Al Hosn app showed we all have COVID vaccines and our PCR tests were negative. 

A quick turn around and off to Stock Burger to help Ian celebrate his birthday.
