Still, life #3

Yesterday I stood helplessly waiting for an ambulance while a man lay dying on the pavement as various people tried to give him CPR. I do not know if he survived.  It did not look good.  He was a runner. This colourful array of fruit and flowers was in the boot of my car at the time.  When I woke up this morning and looked at them on our bright blue dresser, I thought of the man.  I hope he gets to see fruit and flowers again.  I'm grateful that I still can.
